With a blade in my hand I march slashing through ice mephits and skeletons

Scattering the light emitting from my torch inside the chamber hall
Grim menacing sight greets my eyes as I hold on to my grip
Giant statue stands still in the dark
My amulet shines and pulsates pulling me towards the figure
Earth shatters
The crystalline golem awakes
Filled with rage the monster tears down everything in sight
Shining moonlight lays upon his crystal skin
Soul crushing roar pierces the night as I run for my life
Either it all ends now or I turn back and fight
Scavenging the night
Dueling with a crystalline monster that’s tenfold my size
My chances are grim and I prepare for the end of my time
I notice the shining light from within the head
I risk everything as I pierce through the weakness inside
Victory is mine
My blade burns

I use rejection to fuel my flame
Burning violins will sing my symphony

This is fantastic! Some seriously tasty brutal tech death, with absolutely crushing riffs, rhythm, and vocals. The album's production and mixing is also perfect, it's very balanced and allows the music to shine through the brutality. Highly, highly recommended!

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet!
